“ Back for another visit for lunch. Luckily, seating was quick. Very relaxed vibe for a mid week lunch break. Plenty of vegan / plant based option. Food was prepared fresh and was very tasty. Overall another nice experience. Will be back ”
“ Popped in for lunch on a Friday so my mom visiting from Reno could try this place. Our waitress Torre was wonderful. She was very sweet and patient and accommodating. She was able to recommend a red blend that my mom really loved. I ordered a Pinot Noir which was the perfect pair to our charcuterie board. We also ordered the shrimp and polenta (but without the polenta which they were extremely accommodating over). The charcuterie board was delicious with the cheeses and mustards and fruit. The shrimp was juicy, buttery and had lots of garlic, YUM. My mom really enjoyed it and wants to return each time she visits. ”
“ I come here regularly and it's one of my favorite neighborhood spots. Even though I'm not vegan, I lean towards veg/vegan food and I'd say this spot has some of the best in the area. Another major draw is the spacious patio. In the winter, they turn on heaters so you can sit out there year round. The servers are super friendly and always make me feel welcome even when I come in by myself ”
“ We wanted a quick bite and found Revolution with the help of Yelp. My wife is vegetarian and ordered the Mezze Plate. It had marinated feta, hummus, kalamata olives, roasted beets, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, tzatziki, pickled red onions. It's accompanied with a small sliced loaf of bread. It was delicious. I had the Rev Burger with ranch-raised beef and cheddar. It was very tasty We were full and look forward to trying some of their desserts like the Espresso Chocolate Cheesecake next time. The service was good and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. ”
“ Last time I was here it was a warm evening & we enjoyed a cool white wine & apps. Today was a chilly morning where we had a family brunch. Thankfully we were seating indoors at a sunny table. Our server Zack took great care of us. We ordered 2 carafes of bubbles & OJ which allowed us to pick what strength mimosa we'd like. Lots of veggie options which I was pleased about. The fingerling potatoes were crispy and top notch. My sister loved their chilaquiles and they looked great. Happy we chose this restaurant for our brunch. ”
“ I've been here many times now and I'm honestly feeling bad that I've never written a review. There's a good reason my family and I frequent this place: It's great. The food is solid, the wine and cocktails are fantastic, and the service is always stellar. This place is honestly my favorite restaurant in Sacramento. I'm not a vegan but I do appreciate that their food puts a bigger spotlight on good quality produce. Simple, quality ingredients speak for themselves. The menu varies seasonally, which I appreciate. Tonight we did their Dine Downtown special, which was a great deal and a great way to try a bit of everything. Between the 3 of us we were able to try one of everything in that deal menu, and I tried the night's wine flight. One credit I have to give is that my mother, who typically doesn't like wine so much because it makes her feel off and may give her headaches, actually really likes their wine and has no problems with it. All of their wines are very drinkable yet nuanced, and pretty well priced considering what you're getting. Tonight I had the beet salad, which is a great example of how they make simple produce really stand out. The beets were meaty and and flavorful, the goat cheese was so rich, and the dill the used was remarkably fragrant. For my entree I had the harissa sweet potato and chickpea bowl which I've had before (and wanted again because it's that good). It's seasonal. The savoriness of the spices really balance the sweet potato perfectly, and I really adore the crisp outer layer of the chickpeas (they cooked it perfectly). Another great example of quality produce speaking for itself. For dessert I had the brie and pear/cranberry topping. I love savory foods a bit more than sweet, so I really love having a cheese option for dessert. The pear/cranberry topping really paired well with the baked brie, and you can't go wrong with crostini. My parent's meals were excellent as well (the spice cake was delicious). This place is a delight. I recommend sitting outside if you can, though indoors is fine. The outside is nice at all times of year, with heating when it's cold. It's a bit quieter outdoors, which I prefer. My final praise is that the servers don't rush you. They aren't pushing you to eat and leave immediately, so it's a great place to hang out a bit with friends and chat. Overall: Everything is fantastic. ”
“ One of my favorite spots to catch up with friends at! I've never had a wine here I didn't like and they have great options for appetizers to snack on. The outside seating holds a great ambience and makes you never want to leave! ”
“ I have been here several times and have never had a bad experience. Service is always excellent. The restaurant can get crowded so we try to get reservations. On the rare occasions when we do not have a reservation, and the restaurant is busy, we have never waited more than 15 minutes for a table. The food is always excellent, and most entrees have the option to be vegetarian. Also, I like that the wine is available via glass, carafe, or bottle for purchase. Sometimes a bottle of wine is too much to share between two people, so a carafe is a nice option. All-in-all it's a great restaurant, and we plan to keep coming back. ”
“ Huge fan of mushrooms, so it was great to see a vegetarian option to fish and chips. The food was definitely filling and well seasoned with old bay. I think it would have benefitted from a bit more spice though. Another pro, was it was VERY crispy! :) The service was quick and the employees are great. ”
